Questions
Is this in the App Store?
No, and that's deliberate. You open a link on your phone and add it to your home screen — about two minutes. After that it behaves like any other app icon, and it opens with no internet.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Your records live on your phone, so a clinic basement or a hospital waiting room with no signal doesn't matter. Phone reminders and sharing doses with a caregiver need a connection.
Where is my family's information stored?
On your phone. There's no account and no server holding your records. If you turn on reminders or share doses with a caregiver, only the medication name, who it's for and the dose times go to the MedRecords reminder service. Nothing else in your records leaves your phone.
What do I get for free?
Up to six family members, medications with dose reminders and dose history, appointments, doctors, pharmacies, emergency contacts, insurance cards, health notes, printing and backups. No card, no ads and no time limit.
How does sharing doses with a caregiver work?
With MedRecords Max, you send a caregiver a link to the medications you choose. They get a reminder when a dose is due and tap Given or Skip on their own phone. They don't need an account, and they see nothing else in your records. Send the same link to as many caregivers as you like, like a sibling, an aide or a neighbor. Each one adds their first name, so you see who gave each dose.
How do I upgrade?
MedRecords Max is $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year. Your license key arrives by email. Open MedRecords, tap MedRecords Max in the menu, and paste the key. One key works on up to 3 devices.
What happens if I cancel?
Your records stay. Medical Records, vitals and visit notes stay visible, printable and exportable. You just can't add new ones until you subscribe again, and caregiver sharing stops. Nothing is deleted.
I already bought Medical Records Keeper. Am I losing anything?
No. Anyone who was already using the app keeps MedRecords Max for good, including everyone who bought it on Etsy or Gumroad. You don't need a code and you don't need to contact me.
What if it isn't for me?
Start with MedRecords Free — there's nothing to lose and no card involved. If you upgrade and change your mind, cancel any time. On the yearly plan, email cleartrackapps@gmail.com within 30 days for a full refund. Your records stay in MedRecords Free.
